<strong>General Terms & Conditions</strong> All rates we quote are, of course, subject to availability and alteration. All special offers quoted are limited and subject to availability and may be subject to a minimum stay. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, The Chancery Hotel Ltd cannot accept liability for any errors or omissions and we reserve the right to change information and descriptions of listed hotels and products and to amend manifest errors in the quoted or booked rates. <strong>Online Bookings</strong> Please note that different terms, conditions and cancellation policies in relation to all online bookings via all The Chancery Hotel’s websites may apply, depending on the hotel and room or rate type selected. Please read carefully the room rate details that are provided before you make your online booking. Your booked and confirmed rate is for the duration of nights you have agreed to. Should you need to check out earlier this may be subject to a penalty fee or increase in rates. Please also note that multiple night rates are a blend of the best available rate over that stay and may have varied daily. Once your booking is made, you will receive an on-screen confirmation reference number – we recommend you make a note of it. You will also receive an email outlining your reference number and reservation details. In the event where you have to cancel your reservation, you will need your confirmation reference number, as well as the email address used to make the reservation. <strong>Pre-Authorisation</strong> Pre-authorisation of a major credit card is required upon check-in. If you cannot provide a credit card, pre-payment for the full value of your stay will be required, payable by Debit Card. An additional pre-authorisation / pre-payment amount will be required if you wish to charge incidentals to your room during your stay. <strong>Group Bookings</strong> When booking 10 rooms or more different payment and cancellation policies will apply. For more specific details on terms and conditions applying to group bookings please contact the hotel directly. <strong>VAT & other TAXES</strong> Reservations are subject to prevailing VAT rates applicable during the provision of the service. Therefore, if the prevailing VAT rate changes, the rate for the services provided during the stay will be subject to the new greater or lesser VAT rate as applicable. Should City tax or equivalent be mandated such tax shall be applied. <strong>Non-Performance</strong> If for reasons beyond the hotel’s reasonable control, including, but not limited to, strikes, labour disputes, acts, regulations or orders of governmental authorities, civil disorder, disaster, acts of war, acts of God, fires, flood or other emergency conditions, or due to any delay in necessary and essential repairs of the hotel, the hotel is unable to perform its obligations under this agreement, the non-performance is excused and the hotel may terminate the original agreement without further liability of any nature. In no event shall the hotel be liable for consequential damages of any nature, for any reason whatsoever. <strong>Guaranteed Reservations</strong> Credit card details are taken at the time of booking for guarantee purposes. By securing your online reservation with a credit card, your room is guaranteed until midnight on the day of arrival, after which the room is released and may be resold. All reservations are made on www.thechanceryhotel.ie must be guaranteed with a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). In the case of a no-show, your credit card will be charged for the first night’s accommodation. <strong>Prepaid Rates</strong> When booking the Prepay and Save Rate, your credit card or debit card will be charged for the entire stay at the time of booking and the charge is completely non-refundable. A cancellation or change will result in the forfeit of the amount charged. <strong>Packages</strong> All packages are “inclusive” of all services mentioned. If you decide to opt-out of any one service offered as part of a package, the package end price will not change and you will be charged for all package items, utilised or not. <strong>Cancellation Policy</strong> Cancellations must be made by 15:00hrs (local Time) 24 hours prior to your arrival. If notice of cancellation is not received by 15:00hrs (local Time) 24 hours prior to your arrival date, the hotel will charge for the first night’s accommodation. Please note that some rates (e.g. Advance Purchase and Last-Minute Rates) are non-refundable and in the event of a no show, the full charge of the reservation is taken from your credit card. <strong>Early Departure Fees</strong> Should you depart earlier than your original departure date on your reservation confirmation, early departure fees will apply unless notice is provided in line with our cancellation policy. Should you need to amend your departure date we will require notice 15:00hrs (local time), 24 hours prior to departure, failure to do so will incur a charge of the full room night’s accommodation <strong>Promotions and Offers</strong> All promotional offers are subject to specific terms, conditions and restrictions listed on the specific webpage. All promotional offers are subject to availability. Should you reserve a promotional rate where a multi-night discount has been applied, should your length of stay be amended, this may impact the price of your booking. <strong>Damage and Loss</strong> The Chancery Hotel reserves the right to charge guests for the cost of rectifying or cleaning any damage which has been caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless acts of guests to the hotel’s property or structure. This right to charge will also apply to loss of earnings and/or profit where the damage is of such a nature that the room is unable to be left to other guests. This right to charge will also apply where any item from the hotel room is removed or lost. If such damage or loss is discovered during the stay it will be drawn to the guest’s attention but, if discovered after guests have departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the costs for payment to the guest’s registered address. We will make every effort to rectify or clean any damage internally prior to contracting specialists carrying out the work, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that guests would incur to a minimum. <strong>Smoking Policy</strong> The Chancery Hotel operates a strict no smoking / vaping policy on its premises. Guests shall be liable for any costs, loss of earnings and/or profit or damage to a hotel room, premises or property, arising from failure to comply with this policy and The Chancery Hotel reserves the right to charge a specialist cleaning fee to any guest who violates the non-smoking policy. <strong>Site Use</strong> Our www.thechanceryhotel.ie website is created to facilitate and manage reservations.
